This template is fully usable as it is, but it is PASSWORD PROTECTED. The ShareWare Fee for a Non-Protected copy is $20.00.
The spreadsheet is pretty much self-explanatory if you are in a business which requires CERTIFIED PAYROLL REPORTING. Only the following small items may be significant—
• The format for entering the Withholding data must not be changed or the taxes will not calculate correctly. You must have the marital status on the first line for that employee [i.e., (M)arried or (S)ingle] and the total number of exemptions on line two (2) of the employee’s withholding data block. See sample data entered.
• The tax look-up table is to the right of the main part of the template. It is accurate as of this date. For updates, please contact me when needed.
• All cells are PROTECTED except those where you will need to enter or change data. For example, in the day-of-week date area, you will enter the starting date and the remaining cells are calculated. Also, if you change any data in the heading of the first sheet, it is automatically entered into the second sheet of the template.
• When the spreadsheet is completed, you will need to print it out and then photocopy the “side two” of Federal WH-347 onto the back for signatures.
